You’ve read my blog so you know that I’m horrible with grammar. I try my best…actually I don’t. I just use whatever punctuation marks that I feel work best for me and I generally write sentences in the same tone and rhythm that I speak. This can however make for some difficult grammar.
So – to combat my poor grammar and writing faux pas I picked up Strunk & White’s “The Elements of Style” to read and apply to blog writing and personal writing.
As far as writing resources goes – it’s pretty handy and easy to read – but, it’s still a book about grammar, syntax and sentence structure. I’m hoping that I’ll learn some key rules that I can being to apply immediately to my writing – such as, using the correct ‘than/then’ in sentences. Not like this guy.
